I have been with CICAS since January 1998. My research has been directed at validating network-based interactive rendering as a tool that surgeons can use in the operating room. I am particularly interested in the application of image guidance technology to anterior and lateral skull base surgery (including temporal bone surgery) and functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS). I will complete my residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (ENT) at the University of Iowa under Bruce J. Gantz, and plan on pursuing a clinical and research fellowship in Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery.
